Things to Do

Welcome Party: Cocktail Attire

Think La Dolce Vita: effortless, elegant, and celebratory. Cocktail attire strikes the perfect balance of formal and fun—no need for floor-length gowns or tuxedos. Since part of the celebration takes place on the lawn, we recommend block heels or other grass-friendly footwear.

Gentlemen: Tuxedo or dark suit with a tie or bow tie; polished dress shoes recommended. Ladies: Floor‑length or ankle‑length gown; dressy heels or flats are appropriate. We recommend grass‑friendly heels or dressy flats—heel stoppers will be provided for your convenience. Late summer days can be warm with cooler evenings—consider a light wrap or shawl.
